MIAMI JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL EXCLUSIVE EVENT!
We're thrilled to announce a very special event presenting one of the year's most hotly anticipated movies Golda starring Academy Award winner Helen Mirren, Israeli superstar Lior Ashkenazi, Emmy nominee Liev Schrieber, and directed by Academy Award-winning Israeli filmmaker Guy Nattiv. This one-night-only event is exclusive to Miami Jewish Film Society Members and will take place on Thursday, August 3 at 7pm at AMC Aventura.
The acclaimed biopic opens on October 6th, 1973, when darkness suddenly falls on Israel's holiest day as a thunderous surprise attack ravages the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights. Golda Meir, Israel's only female Prime Minister, confronts the clear and present danger of a ticking timebomb that she hoped never to face. In a heart-pounding race against time, she risks everything to save millions of lives amidst the fiery crucible of conflict.
